Privacy Policy
Bapper Labs ("Bapper," "we," "us") builds phone, text, and paperwork systems for small businesses in West Michigan. This policy describes what we collect when you contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us: your name, business name, mobile number, and email, when you call or text (616) 227-4477, submit a form on this site, or email us.
- Call and message records: the time of your call or text, voicemail you leave, and the content of text conversations with us. Calls to and from our business line may be recorded for our own records and quality; Michigan is a one-party-consent state.
- Basic site data: standard server logs. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.
How we use it
- To reply to you. If you call and we can't answer, we may send one text back to the number you called from, acknowledging the missed call and asking how we can help.
- To reply by text when you text us first, and to send appointment confirmations and follow-ups for work you've asked us about.
- To keep a record of our conversations so we can do the work you asked for.
Text messaging (SMS)
You receive texts from Bapper only after you contact us first: by calling or texting (616) 227-4477, or by submitting a form on this site that states we will reply by text. Message frequency varies with the conversation. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, and HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of buying anything from us.
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Who else sees it
We use service providers to run our phone line and text messaging (currently Twilio) and to host this site. They process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing. We do not sell personal information to anyone.
Keeping and deleting it
We keep call and message records as long as we're working with you or reasonably need them for our records. Text us or email hello@bapperlabs.com and we'll delete your contact details and message history on request, except what we're required to keep.
